    Jammu, April, 05: -Adv. Ashok Kumar Sharma, National Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag and Ex-MLA/MLC express grief sorrow over the excruciating incidence of land slide hit out in Kandi area of Koteranka, District Rajouri where hundreds of people becomes homeless due to land slide.

    Mr. Sharma appealed the District Administration to take immediate necessary action for providing adequate essential supplies and shelter to the victims in the government building till alternative arrangements done.

    Mr. Sharma further appeal to the locals to help the victim families in every possible manner and also to take preventive measure to ensure non-spreading of covid-19.

    Team SSEM Distributed Food Kits In Remote Areas Of Surankote

    Poonch,April 5:- Today, Team SSEM along with DySp Headquarters Poonch Mudasar Choudhary, Dr Sarfaraz Mir Prof Zahid Sharief and Ajaz Siddiqui visited two different places in district Poonch and distributed food kits to the needy.

    In the first half of the day the team visited Gundi and distributed 26 food kits to the poors amid the nationwide lockdown due to the spread of the COVID-19 Corona virus.

    In the second half of the day, they visited Hari Marhot, a remote village of Surankote and distributed 47 food kits to the poor.

    Despite the fact that, as per sources 929 peoples returned from different states and other nations, the SSEM team did not bother and continued in their mission to serve humanity.

    Rajouri,April 5:- With the restrictions of lockdown due to corona virus pandemic continued across Rajouri district on Sunday with streets kept wearing a deserted looks.

    Police in its official statement said that as per the orders of District Magistrate, only essential services were allowed to remain functional.

    A few people found violating government directions were also booked and action was initiated against them.

    Police said that a team of police station Rajouri during patrolling seized a JCB machine bearing registration JK11C 2275 which was found working near power house Kheora.
    Driver of the said machine vehicle escaped from the spot whose manhunt has been launched while a case FIR 184/2020 under sections 188 IPC has been registered in police station Rajouri.

    Another team of Kalakote police station during patrolling in village Dhalyote found that Saraj Din son of Noor Din resident of Dhalyote had started some construction work with around one dozen labourers were engaged in work.
    Kalakote police station registered a case i.e FIR 25/2020 under sections 188 IPC against the owner.

    Similarly, a case in FIR 182/2020 under sections 188 IPC has been registered against Mohammad Shahid son of Mohammad Zahid resident of Ujhan, at present Kheora, who was found doing construction work at his house.

    Meanwhile, many senior citizens who called up on police helpline dedicated for senior citizens and asked for help were facilitated in the form of provision of medicines and other essentials.

    Jammu, 05/Apr/2020: Demanding disbursal of funds lying with Jammu and Kashmir Waqf board to provide relief to the poor people who have become worst victim of  21 days nationwide Lockdown due to  Corona Pandemic.

    Dr. Shazad Ahmed Malik, former Vice Chancellor and known social activist of border district Poonch have written a letter to Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister of Minority Affairs who is also ex-officio Chairperson of  Central Waqf Council seeking the latter’s intervention so that funds worth millions of rupees lying with the Jammu & Kashmir Board for Muslim Specified Waqfs be used for welfare of people.

    In the emailed letter dated 04/April/2020, the former VC have urged the union minister to open up the treasures of the Waqf  board to utilize these funds for the poor and needy people of remote, hilly and border areas of J & K UT to  express solidarity with the fellow citizens in this difficult time.

    Urging the minister to take a cue from other individual and religious organizations of the country that have  donated whole heartedly and generously  to mitigate Corona Pandemic, Dr Shazad in his letter appealed  “ In this hour of crisis   on entire mankind, many renowned entrepreneurs , business organizations, cine stars and religious organizations have also donated generously towards Prime Ministers’ Care Fund or themselves supported the communities and I am being informed that amount worth crores is also lying with Jammu & Kashmir Board for Muslim Specified Waqfs therefore  I Request you to direct the concerned board/administrator  and officers  to utilize these funds for welfare of Poor people”.

    Giving further details about his letter, the former VC informed that despite all efforts by the government many areas especially remote, hilly and border areas of J & K UT like Rajouri, Poonch, Mendhar, Balakote,  Chammb, Nowshera, Uri, Kupwara e.t.c remain almost neglected. The poor people there needs helping hand and thus it becomes the responsibility of the Waqf Board to use the funds in its possession for the welfare of the poor and vulnerable section of the society who are suffering severally due to this nation wide lock down.

    صحت اور دوسروں کی صحت کا تحفظ کر کے انسانیت کا ثبوت پیش کریں اور درج ذیل احتیاطی تدابیر پر ضرور عمل کریں ۔۔۔،،
    ١۔ ۔دن میں بار باراپنے ہاتھوں کو دھویئں۔ اور سنی ٹائیزر کا استعمال کریں۔۔اور ماسک کا استعمال ہرگز نہ بھولیں۔۔کیونکہ یہ وائرس جب بھی انسان پر حملہ کرتا ہے تو یہ ناک منہ اورآنکھ کے ذریعے سے اندر جاتا ہے

    ۵۔ ۔اپنے گھروں اور گلی کوچوں کی صفائی اور ستھرائی کا خاص خیال رکھیں ۔بیرون ریاست یا ملک سے اگر کوئی اپنے گھر آئے وہ سفری تفاصیل کوچھپانے کے بجائے انتظامیہ پنچایت ممبر ان یا نمبردار چوکیدار کو اطلاع کریں ۔
    ا نتظامیہ کے ساتھ کرونا وائرس سے بچاؤ کی احتیاطی تدابیر میں مکمل تعاون کیا جائے ۔۔۔بلاوجہ پولیس یا انتظامیہ سے الجھنے کی ہرگز کوشش نہ کریں ۔
