    KOTRANKA : After expelling Iqbal Malik from primary membership of the party now congress party announced masood chowdhary as their working incharge for Darhal Budhal constituency.

    Congress party announced this in a letter written Masood chowdhary is active member of PCC . Masood is connected with party from last 14 years during this time period he also left party once and contested assembly election as independent candidate from Darhal Budhal constituency.

    Congress leadership believes that party will emerge more strong at gross root level and particularly this decision will work as a booster for party in upcoming assembly election.

    Masood has good vote bank in Darhal Budhal masood was chosen as incharge for Darhal Budhal by the desire of congress state president Ghulam Ahmed Mir.

    Udhampur, July-14 GNS:-In connection with one day pilgrimage to Shri Pingla Mata Cave Shrine on July 16 , an impressive Shobha Yatra was taken out in Udhampur town, here today.
    The impressive shobha yatra of Akhand Jyoti Adhi Shakti Pingla Mata was organised by Adi Shakti sewa Sanstha Udhampur in which large number of devotees participated with enthusias, recited songs in praise of Adhi Sakhti Ma Pingla.
    At around 4pm, an impressive Shobha Yatra was taken out from Pandav Mandir which after passing through Hospital road, Sallan Talab, Chabutra Bazaar, Main Bazaar, Gole Market, Mukerji Bazaar, Ramnagar Chowk, Salathia Chowk culminated at the starting point.

    Different  tableaux were decorated depicting different incarnations of Goddess.In the morning, a ‘Havan Yagna’ was performed at the Mandir and langer was offered by the Sanstha. President Shri Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta said that the Sanstha is organizing 13th Pingla Mata Akhand Jyoti Yatra for which a shobha yatra was taken out today. He said that the scared lamp and Trident would remain at Pandav Mandir which would be carried to Cave Shrine of Pingla Mata on July 16, 2019 morning in a procession of devotees. The President, Mr. Gupta said that the Sanstha has managed free bus services for the devotees like every year from Udhampur to the Pilgrimage point. He said that free langar facility would also be provided by the Sanstha at the shrine cave with all out support of the Ex-Sarpanch of the village Pinger, Mr. Mulk Raj Gupta.Among other, President, MC, Yogeshwar Gupta, President Beopar Mandal, Varmani, Vice President, Mr. Ajay Gudda, vice President Mahilla wing, B. K Sarlla, Manik Shah, Ankush Gupta & Members of the Santha and large number of people participated in the Shobha yatra.

    Failure of PMGSY Department to undertake repairs of vital Tarpai Pull to Fatehpur Khass.

    In absence of repairs, the road is dotted with dozens of potholes subjecting commuters to inconvenience.

    “The dilapidated road poses risk of accidents. Several vehicles have been damaged due to deep potholes. We have apprised the concerned authorities about the matter but to no action was taken,” *said Mohd Basharat, a resident of Fatehpur.*

    The locals told *GNS* the *Fatehpur* road has caved in at several places. This has endangered the commuters. It is ironical that Roads and PMGSY has failed to take measures to even fill up the potholes to prevent accidents on the busy stretch,” they said.

    They said problem is compounded by blocked drains. Due to slight rains, locals said a vast stretch of road from *Tarpai Pull to Fatehpur* gets water-logged. They appealed the District Development Commissioner Rajouri to look into the matter.

    Executive Engineer PMGSY Department, Mohammed Farooq Chowdhary said “repairs of the road has been delayed due to rains. We will undertake repairs after weather improves.”

    POONCH, July 14:- Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav (IAS) today reviewed the arrangements for Annual Budha Amarnath Yatra 2019 here at Mandir Complex ,Mandi.

    The meeting was attended by DIG Rajouri Vivek Gupta, Addl. SP Adil Hussain, ADC Sheraz Ul Haq, Tehsildar Mandi Javid Ibal, CO Bal Krishan, CDPO Mandi, Xen PHE, AEE PWD, SHO mandi, Agriculture Extension Officer, Harvinder singh, Chief Horticulture Officer, members of Budha Amarnath Yatra Committee and prominent citizens.

    During the meeting various issues were discussed which includes security arrangements, adequate power supply, medical and transport facilities, safe drinking water, accommodation and proper sanitation.

    The meeting was informed that the yatra will commence on 6th of August with the first batch of yatris leaving for Shri Budha Amarnath and the Yatra will culminate on 16th of August with the departure of ‘chari Mubarakh’ from Shri Dashnami Akhara Poonch.

    While addressing the meeting, the DC exhorted upon all concerned Departments and stakeholders of Budha Amarnath Yatra to ensure fullproof arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of the yatra.

    During the meeting PDD were directed to provide uninterrupted power supply while PHE were asked to arrange water tankers around the clock for yatris.Stressing for providing better sanitation and cleanliness at the langer sites, the DDC asked Municipal authorities to arrange dustbin and temporary toilet facilities and assured that all genuine demands will provide during yatra including Ambulance, medical camp, repair of road.

    The concerned Departments informed the meeting that all the facilities for the yatris will be provided by different ‘Sewa Samities’ enroute from Bimar Gali to Budha Amarnath with designated yatra officer.

    The meeting was informed that a control room would be setup to assist the pilgrims and to provide sheds.

    Poonch,14 July: District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav today held a public grievance redressal camp at Fatehpur, Tehsil Mandi.

    The meeting was attended by ACD Abdul Qyoom Mir, Tehsildar mandi, Javid Iqbal, Chief Agriculture officer Mohd. Younis Chowdary, Agriculture Extension Officer Harvinder singh,CDPO Mandi Anjum Ganai, BMO Dr. Mushtaq Hussain jafri, District Social Welfare Officer Shakeel Ahmed Malik, AD Ravi Kumar, AEE PWD Imataiz Mir, prominant citizens and sarpanchs besides local public attended the meeting.

    During the greivance redrassal camp , several developmental issues and other grievances of these areas were raised pertaining to water and power supply, availability of ration, verification BPL beneficiaries, reparing of roads, black of roads from mandi to fatehpur— serikhawaja CRF road, fatehpur to sathra road, repairing of roads, introduction of Persian, Arabic and commerce subjects in Hr. Sec School fatehpur, adequate staff in health and Hr. Sec. School fatehpur.

    DDC Yadav gave a patient hearing and listened to all the demands raised by people during the camp.

    Speaking on the occasion DDC directed the officers to perform their duty with utmost honesty and dedication and solve the problems of people on priority. Responding to the concerns and demands of the people, the Deputy Commissioner assured that all their grievances will be addressed and genuine demands will be met. DDC assured the people that all issues raised in the camp will be addressed on priority basis

    Bunjwah 14 Jul :-In an endeavour to connect Administration to the people at grass root level Tehsildar Bunjwah Shohab Latief KAS along with Sajad Hussain Patwari Halqa and other revenue officials of Tehsil Bunjwah held Public Grevience Redressal Camp at Kither, one of the remotest region of Tehsil Bunjwah more than 120 km away from District headquarter Kishtwar, having boundaries with Himalayan Mountains , Paddar , Bhalessa and approx 6500mtrs above from sea level of flowing kalni river.
    During the public darbar , various deputations from Buddhar, Manno, and other parts of panchayat kither put forth their demands. The public of Kither informed that since 2008 only 8 km rough cutting of Patnazi Kither has been completed, Compensation of land falling under road alignment has yet not been disbursed. Defunct and absentee culture in Government schools of Kither including High School Kither, Negligence in Health sector, restoration of electricity, restoration of old pipe lines and completion of both projects was also highlighted.Locals alleged that black marketing of govt ration is on peak and a least share of ration is disbursed among consumers. Non payment of MGNREGA wages since 2016-17 and various other issues were also raised by public.
    Tehsildar Bunjwah Shohab Latief gave a patient hearing on all issues and assured redressal of genuine demands.
    On the occasion various Schedule Tribes Certificate, Income Certificates, PRC Certificate and other documents were handed over to public on doorsteps.
    People thanked Tehsildar Bunjwah for visiting Kither and said that it’s first time in history since 1999,that a Tehsildar with powers of Magistrate visited Kither.
    Meanwhile Tehsildar Bunjwah instructed public to approach his office anytime for redressal of their demands.

In the wake of similitude of some circumstances , I have taken this decision after thorough analysis of every situation. There are a lot of reasons behind.

    I myself laid the foundation stone of this student’s organistation some time ago but could not cope with the hard experiences faced till now.     UDHAMPUR, 14 July: Continues its campaign against drugs, Chief Patron Dogra Kranti Dal NGO, Former MLA & NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia organised 8th marathon run against drug abuse which commenced from Chakk Padanoo Kalta at around 6:30 am Marathon was organised by NGO Dogra Kranti Dal in which about 300 youth participated. Expressing deep concern over increasing drugs at Udhampur on such fast rate, Mankotia said that to make Udhampur drug free is our prime goal & we are working at Ground level by organising such marathons & sports activities. Mankotia also appreciated the efforts of Police administration as they had recovered 8 kg Heroine at Udhampur couple of days back.

    Mankotia while addressing youth expressed his anxiety over the spread of “Chitta” named drug at such a fast rate during the past three years due to which many of the youngsters have lost their lives during the previous days in Udhampur.

    Mankotia said that it is the conspiration of neighbourhood country to make our youth concave by making them drug addict. He appealed all the political and non political parties to come along to make our city drug free. Mankotia demanded for the strict action against drug peddlers. He said that such type of awareness by organising such activities should be done periodically which is the only route for drawing youth away from drugs. “Only motive behind to organise such activities is to channelise the energy of our youngsters into positive direction “ Mankotia added

    Mankotia informed that during the previous days he has made door to door awareness compaign against drugs and also made huge rallies to eradicate such a menace and to take stern action against drug peddlers. Mankotia while showing his concern over the drug abuse said that eradication of Drug abuse is our prime goal. Hundreds of youngsters also take oath to stay from Drugs.

    Later, Mankotia also felicitates first three winners with cash prize in which 1st prize Ajay Kumar with ₹ 3100
    2nd prize Ashwani Sharma with ₹ 2100 &
    3rd prize Shubam sharma 1100. Also ₹500 to others upto 10th rank.

    Several locals including Sarpanchs / Panchs also present on the occasion.
