  • Sham lal Sharma left party due to eneficient G A Mir. joining  Shaam Lal in BJP is as failure of Congress leadership in the State

In a major breakthrough senior leader of Congress Party from J&K Shamlal Sharma left the party amid upcoming elections in the state .This is believed from many quarters that Party President G A Mir has utterly failed in maintaing the order and created choas owing to party is getting weaker day by day. As a matter of fact party was having high hope in regaining its position in upcoming parliamentary and assembly elections but due to indifferent nature of Mir ,Party is paying huge prize both in Jammu and Kashmir region . On one side many parties has emerged in valley with local faces and Congress is loosing its base among the common masses due to the lack of sincere strategy of PCC chief G A MIR

Resignation of Sham Lal Sharma due to internal crisis faced by the national party in J&K state is an eye opener .

Some internal source of party said  that GA Mir busy in garning hush money in the guise of distributing tickets in the upcoming assembly elections with out taking the confidence of top brass in the state .
Congress cadre in Jammu unhappy with continuation of G A Mir as PCC Chief. Many in political circles pin hopes on Tariq Hameed Karra after he joined Congress party as he has proved his mettle in state politics and could revive the much derailed Congress in the state. Soon after joining Congress Tariq Hameed Karra started his political tours in Rajouri-Poonch thus gathering massive support from the people of border belt.

The resignation of top Congressman and strongman Sham Lal Sharma and joining of BJP is seen as failure of Congress leadership to give adequate space to Jammu based Congress leaders.

Karra is the leader who has maintained clean image throughout his political career and Congress should have given him the reins to lead Congress.
