17 Medical aid camps set up for Nomadic livestock by Sheep Husbandry Department Rajouri

Rajouri, April 25: In view of the migration of private flocks to the alpines of Kashmir from Rajouri , the District Administration Rajauri has established first aid camps at various places enroute to Kashmir at identified fixed points.

These medical camps will provide medical aid to the livestock which the nomadic people will take with them during this migration season. The District Administration has organised these camp to make the migration of nomadic people easy and safe for their livestock.

A total of 17 camps have been established enroute to help noamdas .The 1st Aid camps have established at different points in kalakote and Rajouri including Sunderbani, Nowshera, Solki, Sailsui Balli , Moghla Roadside, Treru gala in Kalakote and Chingus, Potha, Rajouri , Saim-smith, thanamandi Joint Check Postwith Army &Forest, Panjgrain, Manjakote, Aarhi , Churagali , Budhal and Bari- Darhal Joint check Post with Army& Forest.

All these first aid camps are operated by the concerned Sheep extension centers/ Mobile Units (SECs/MUs). A treatment register will also be maintained at all the center’s with the details of people whose livestocs will be provided first aid.
